Curve Hero holds your data in the cloud, and the bulk export reflects that: you ask for it, it is produced in the background, and you collect it afterwards. Plan around that rather than being surprised by it. Paths below were checked against Curve's own documentation.
-
Check you have Administrator access
Get My Data is restricted to users with Administrator access. If the menu item is not there, that is why — it is not a matter of finding a different path.
-
Open Get My Data
In the Sidekick, click More, then Administration. Under the Reporting list, click Get My Data.
-
Start it well before you need it
The process can take a full day to complete, and the finished file stays available in Curve Hero for seven days. Neither number is a problem if you know about them; both are if you were planning to mail this afternoon.
-
Expect the whole database, not a filtered list
Get My Data produces a downloadable text file of the information held in your practice database — it is an export of everything, not a lapsed-patient report. You will do the filtering yourself in a spreadsheet: sort on the last-visit column and cut everyone above your cut-off date.
-
Or use the reports for a narrower pull
Curve also carries patient and recare reports in its reporting tools. If one of those gives you the segment you want with addresses attached, it is a shorter route than exporting the entire database and trimming it down.
Once you have the file
Check the export actually carries street, city, state and ZIP — recall reports are built for phoning people and often ship without them. Then clean it before you upload: collapse households, drop anyone flagged do-not-contact, and repair any ZIP your spreadsheet stripped a leading zero from. What the file needs covers the columns we look for.
