Safe zone (live area)
Also known as: live area
The safe zone is the area inside the trim line where all critical content — text, logos, phone numbers — must be placed so it is not accidentally cut off during the finishing process.

How CardCadence handles it
CardCadence design templates include pre-set bleed and safe-zone guides for all three postcard sizes (4×6, 6×9, and 6×11), so your text and logos automatically land in the correct area. If you upload your own artwork, the design checklist flags potential safe-zone violations before the card goes to print. A real print proof is available before any card mails, so you can confirm the finished piece looks exactly as intended.
